That is an incredible turnout for advance polls, and it sends a clear, undeniable message to City Hall: Guelph is ready for a new perspective.
People aren’t turning out early because they are satisfied with the status quo. They are voting because they are tired of performative politics, disjointed infrastructure, and a lack of rigorous fiscal stewardship. They are voting because they know we need real, systems-level change to address housing, transit, and affordability.
To the nearly 10,000 of you who have already voted, Thank you for engaging in our local democracy.
To everyone else: Election Day is this Monday, October 26th.
If you want a Mayor who will treat our municipal budget with strict scrutiny, demand absolute data transparency, and build proactive solutions like a Municipal Development Corporation to tackle housing head-on, now is the time to act.
Let’s bring a new perspective to the Mayor’s office. Vote for Change to Grow this Monday.
